Flying the Flag for Black Country Day 2016

The sun is shining on us this Black Country Day, as it always does of course. 🌞 There is alot going on around the region as we all take a day to appreciate some Black Country culture and take pride in our part of the world.

We’re flying the flag above the shop, so let us know when you see it. A honk will do, or better yet, come in and say hello! Follow us on Twitter or Facebook for up to the minute news and offers.

Chapmans started as ‪‎electrical ‪‎contractors way back in 1925. We’re still in the same place today, a bit of a local landmark on Reddal Hill Road, and flying the Black Country flag. Here’s how the business looked in both 1927 and again later on in the war years, around 1940.

It’s grown a bit since then ay it! We’re pleased to be able to say that Chapmans is still an independent family business to this day. We now have an army of engineers and large fleet of vans and serve the whole West Midlands. Our heritage gives us a focus on quality and providing good customer service for customers of all sizes.

We’re proud of the Black Country, our place within it, and our local community.

We’ve always been an active participant in the community, supporting charities wherever we are able, sponsoring sports teams and generally putting people first in everything we do. We are active in local professional bodies too. The Electrical Contractors Association to name but one, representing the best in electrical engineering and building services.

Fly the flag with us today and be proud of the Black Country and all who call it home!
